DANIEL SMITH- Phthalo Green (Blue Shade) is dark in mass tone, very transparent with strong tinting power for mixing clear colors. Slightly cooler than Phthalo Green (Yellow Shade).

The best pigments in the world are combined with high quality refined linseed oil, selected for its light colour, low acidity, good traction and yellowing resistance. The ideal method of grinding is set for each pigment separately to obtain particle size that maximizes its specific characteristics. A small proportion of additives (less than 1% by weight) is included to improve brush application, pigment consistency with oil, and modification of drying time.

These new oil colors are made with the same quality and care as our Original Oil Colors but with a specially modified linseed oil binder. Our Water Soluble Oil Colors are perfect for: Oil painters who are sensitive to or want to avoid exposure to solvents such as mineral spirits or turpentine. Students and teachers in schools and colleges where the use of oil color is prohibited because of solvents.
